We join some murderous punkers who may be named Scratch and Gearbox, (possibly Earbox?) and Robert Z'Dar of Maniac Cop as they go on a killing and kidnap spree, based on a vague rumor of them having money? There's a film within a film...it's like torture porn that's too silly to get upset about...Add in about 50 full minutes of just walking around in the woods, plus two bookends that make no sense and you've got a movie so bad that even Linda Blair wishes it wasn't on her IMDB page. On this Fun Box Monster Podcast, Tristan and Matt talk about what should have been a 23 minute Monsters episode but was instead made into what feels like a 3 hour movie... Grotesque.

When hell is full, a single, non-articulated, rubber elf will roam the earth. It's mouth will never close. It's arms will never bend. It's legs will never be seen with it's torso. Mostly it will jiggle. Dan (Grizzly Adams) Haggerty stars. And smokes. A bunch. In typical Christmas movie fashion, the plot mostly revolves around incestuous nazis trying to bring about the end of the world by mating a virgin with an elf. This must be the war on Christmas I keep hearing about. So, grab a carton of Camels, stack your donuts just so, and get ready for Matt and Tristan to delve into the seedy depths of 1989's Elves.

It's Thanksgiving! What better way to celebrate than to work those Abbadabbas with the eponymous "Jake" of Body By Jake fame! He stars as a bodybuilding psychopathic serial killer on PCP who giggles like a kindergartener dealing out pro-wrestling style death to the unwitting idiots of a hacienda in maybe Mexico. Add to the mix a Rock and Roll Mime, and 6 other people so bland that their deaths don't change the plot in the slightest, and you've got Home Sweet Home... The best Thanksgiving horror movie that 1981 had to offer.

Get your poodle, your selection of Japanese demon children and join us in the county morgue for the feel good movie of 1991, The Boneyard. Phyllis Diller, Norman Fell and that dog that played Gonk in Elvira, Mistress of the Dark round out a cast of actual actors performing in a movie with a monstrous Poodle and a monstrous Phyllis Diller... This is one magical movie.

Matt and Tristan look back with rose colored glasses at the 1987 disasterpiece Forever Evil. As The Birds is to Birdemic : Shock and Terror, Evil Dead is to Forever Evil. Shot on a relatively low budget, super ambitious, with some fun moments, fun characters and some pretty hilarious misses. An overall fun, silly eighties horror flick, that (coming in at about an hour and fifty minutes) probably could have done with about 20 minutes of edits but still well deserving of a watch by schlock fans.

Ok... Sure there's not a lot to go on for this one, but we soldier through... Love this movie warts and all. Sets are the best, plus its full of Ghoulies. Some great actors giving it all for a movie about little goblin monsters that sometimes eat people's asses.
